Like many candle lovers, I spent years searching for the perfect candle.
Not just something that smelled nice for a few minutes, but a candle that filled a room softly, burned beautifully, and created that quiet feeling of calm we all look for at the end of the day.
I found a few that came close… but never quite the one.
So I decided to make it myself.
That little experiment at the kitchen bench became The Candle Kitchen.
Hand-Poured on the South Coast
Today every Candle Kitchen candle is still poured by hand using natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and carefully layered fragrances.
My small studio sits inside an old timber mill on the South Coast of Australia. A creative space shared with artists, makers, and a tiny café that keeps us all well fed.
It’s here that every candle begins life.
Wax melting.
Fragrances blending.
