Some memories don’t fade. They just wait quietly until something brings them back.

For me, it’s the scent of jasmine on a warm summer evening.

A Walk at Dusk

I was a child. Christmas holidays. Walking with my dad as the day slowly disappeared around us.

We talked about the moon. The stars. The way the sky changes colour just before dark.

Tiny white jasmine flowers were everywhere their fragrance drifting through the warm air, soft and sweet and completely unhurried. Everything was still. Everything felt safe.

It’s one of my happiest memories.

Bottling That Feeling

When I created Splendour, I wanted to capture exactly that.

The feeling of a long summer evening when the world slows down just a little. When the air is warm and fragrant and there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Soft jasmine drifts gently through the room, carried by a light coastal breeze. Elegant, delicate, and beautifully calming.

Floral… but never overpowering. Just soft, graceful, and quietly beautiful.

Our Only Floral and Worth Every Moment

Splendour is the only floral candle in The Candle Kitchen collection, and I’ve always been a little protective of it.

Florals can be tricky. Too heavy and they overwhelm. Too light and they disappear.

Splendour sits in that rare, perfect place present enough to fill a room, gentle enough to feel like a whisper.

Even customers who tell me they don’t like floral fragrances often come back for Splendour. Because it doesn’t smell like a florist. It smells like a summer evening. Like jasmine through an open window. Like something you almost remember.
