Escarpment, Inspired by the Trails Above Thirroul
Have you ever tried to keep up with a 12-year-old on a mountain bike tearing through the escarpment trails?
I have. And trust me, it's not for the faint-hearted.
One minute you're admiring the view, the next you're negotiating ticks, leaches and snakes. The Illawarra Escarpment has a fragrance all of its own, fresh green leaves, damp earth, and that unmistakable hint of sea spray drifting in from the ocean.
It was one of those moments when you stop and think, I wish I could bottle this.
So I did.
The Scent of the Illawarra Escarpment
Escarpment was created to capture the feeling of standing where the mountains meet the sea. Fresh, lush greens blend with earthy notes and a whisper of coastal mist, creating a fragrance that feels like a morning walk through the Illawarra bushland after rain.
Every time I light this candle, I'm transported back to those trails.
A Scent That Holds a Season
These days my son is 19 and forging his own path, with little need for Mum to keep up. But the memories of those adventures remain , captured forever in the scent of Escarpment.
That's what I love most about fragrance. It doesn't just fill a room , it holds a moment, a season, a version of yourself you never want to forget.
